Fields of application

Round steel bars are used on a wide scale in the industry and everyday life, due to its' specific characteristics and utility. Using them as semifabricates results in numerous situation in a shortening of production times and costs (for examle in the production of screws).

Aspects

The bars must be straight without bends of the axis; the deviation from rectilinearity should not surpass 0,25-0,4 % of the bar length.

The bars must be cut without the bending of the endings and without the strain of the section. The burrs resulting from the cutting must not surpass 8 mm.

A deviation from the round form of maximum 0,3-3 mm is allowed.

Delivery conditions

Round bars are delivered in rolled state, in bars or bundles between 300-3000 kg, with lengths of 3-6m.
